The first part of the high stakes Gwent tournament at the Passiflora in Novigrad. I’ve been saving this quest for about now.
The first opponent Geralt faces is the notorious Bernard Tulle. A seemingly innocent halfling farmer who’s apparently saved up the coin to enter the tournament at the behest of his wife… Shyeah right.
Bernard is notorious for cheating at Gwent, and generally being difficult to beat, although I beat him in this first game with no problems. I was puzzled by his pass in the first round though… On my first playthrough it took me around six attempts to beat Bernard in this tournament and I was sure he was cheating (by giving himself extra cards in secret).
