At the Inn at the Crossroads a small group of local thugs try starting some trouble, but Geralt plays it cool and they back off. You can fight them, but it doesn’t make your task any easier.
Geralt meets with Ambassador var Attre to discuss how the war’s going. The Nilfgaardian Ambassador is surprisingly frank and tells him about Nilfgaard’s progress and all the factions involved in the war.
The Nilfgaardian Emperor Emhyr var Emreis wants Geralt to track down his daughter, Cirilla, for “reasons of state”, and also because The Wild Hunt are after her.
The denouement to the quest The Warble of a Smitten Knight is activated if you’re passing by Beauclair Palace towards the end of Blood and Wine.
Before commencing the Toussaint Gwent tourny Geralt must qualify his Skellige deck with Count Monnier. He’ll then tell you to return in two (in-game) days for the tournament itself.
This small quest is a post-Blood and Wine ‘bookend’ that reunites Geralt with his romance partner at Corvo Bianco. If you didn’t romance anyone then either Dandelion or Ciri can turn up, depending on what you did in the base game.
The poignant denouement of Blood and Wine. Geralt and Regis enjoy a mug of Mandrake brew under the stars at Mère-Lachaiselongue Cemetery and talk about the long past and the near future.
Geralt goes for an important conversation with Syanna – unlocked by investigating the fifth victim in the quest “Pomp and Strange Circumstance”.
