Video: Lilac and Gooseberries Part 1

The opening quest of The Witcher 3 – Lilac and Gooseberries – is relatively eventful. First an encounter with a Griffin, then a visit to the White Orchard Inn where Geralt buys some Gwent cards, uses Axii on someone, then plays a round of Gwent with Aldert Geerd.

Other Unique Monsters in The Witcher 3

These are unique Witcher 3 monsters that are not contracts, but are related to quests and haven’t been mentioned in either our Boss Fights Guide, our general Monster Guide, or our Monster Contracts Guide.

Contract Fulfilled: Taking Olgierd’s Soul

At the end of the Hearts of Stone quest “Whatsoever A Man Soweth”, should Geralt allow Master Mirror to take Olgierd von Everec’s soul (whether Geralt met with Shakeslock or not), he will then allow him to ask for a reward.

This video shows what happens if you let Master Mirror take Olgierd von Everec’s soul at the end of “Whatsoever A Man Soweth”. Olgierd meets a gruesome end and Gaunter O’Dimm will offer you a reward.

Video: Waiting For Goe and Doh

While out mopping up the final few undiscovered locations Geralt finds a hidden treasure patrolled by level 40 Drowners, which leads to a short secondary mission called “Waiting For Goe and Doe”.

Video: The Tufo Monster Part 2

This is the final monster contract in my current game. Upon exploring a cave near the Tufo Estate, Geralt finds the lair of a unique Shaelmaar that has been killing workers on the vineyard.

Waiting until night, Geralt sets off to investigate the cellar of the Tufo Estate, at the request of the rather rude Jean-Christophe de Bourbeau. He finds a series of tunnels underneath and a nest of Kikimore and their eggs.

Video: Phantom of the Amphitheater

As Geralt approaches the Seidhe Llygad Amphitheater in southern Toussaint he senses that something isn’t right. Inside he finds a dead woman and evidence that she tried to summon the long dead actress Elsa de Longpré, a spectre who has been haunting the amphitheatre, preventing it being used by anyone else.
